What is Agoraphobia?
And What is the Difference between Panic Attacks, Anxiety
Attacks and Agoraphobia?
Many times it gets confusing because the terms, panic attacks, anxiety attacks and agoraphobia are used
interchangeably. But the truth of the matter is all of these terms are very specific and have different meanings to
the Medical profession because they all are treated differently.
Now remember, you will find my definitions pretty simple because I'm not a medical professional. I wanted to

Let's start off with anxiety attacks... this happens to you when something bad happens to you or you are
thinking about something bad and you get really anxious. In short... you are worrying about something in your life.
And you may feel some physical symptoms such as racing heart, shortness of breath or feel shaky.
A panic attack on the other hand is when all of a sudden
and out of the blue for absolutely no reasons at all... you experience extreme symptoms... you could feel like you
are getting a heart attack... just about to pass out... choking, vomiting or even feel like you are just about to
lose control of yourself and go crazy.
Now the difference between a panic attack and an anxiety
attack is when you are having a panic attack... you are worrying about your mind and body... on the
other hand, when you are having an anxiety attack you are worrying about something else.
And it is absolutely possible for someone who has anxiety
attacks to start getting panic attacks. What happens is the folks who worry about stressful things in
their lives start to worry about their mind and body. And it triggers a panic attack!
Although both disorders are horrible... they are both treatable.
What is Agoraphobia?

words - agora and phobos which can be translated to "a fear of the marketplace.".jpg)

or situations where they fear they have little control. And to make it worst... having Agoraphobia means it is
possible you also have the fear of social embarrassment... or even the fear of having a panic attack or appearing
distraught in public.
As you can see, there are subtle and defined differences between panic attacks, anxiety attacks and agoraphobia.
They can be combination...
