9 Natural Stress Relief Methods to Try...
In our busy modern world... we get so much information charging at us every second... and for many of us... it
can get overwhelming!
So today, I am going to list some stress relief
methods that may help calm your mind and bring some order in our disordered world...
Stress Relief Idea #1: Music
Ideally, you shouldn't be listening to angry, thumping or loud music. Instead try listening to some classical
concerts or wonderful singing groups. For myself, I like to listen to the High Kings... an Irish singing group that
covers old Irish songs... and do it very well. Go to Youtube for some of their songs.

Massages improves your body's circulation and helps eliminate toxins from
your body. And besides... it is a gift you give yourself for tolerating the hustle and bustle of a hectic
lifestyle.
Stress Relief Idea #3: Exercise
This is an old standby and don't disregard it! Working out allows your body to release all the built up stress.
The key here is not to "stick" with the same old routines. Mix it up! How about bodyweight exercises? You can make
an interval out of doing a bunch of them for 30 minutes.
Stress Relief Idea #4: Only Look at Your Emails 3 Times a Day.
Most if not all emails do not add much positive benefits to your busy schedule. There is always an email that is
bound to upset you. Somebody isn't happy with you or somebody has a problem and is dumping it on you. Instead of
letting emails control your life by constantly checking them all day long... just shut down your email program and
only open it once in the mid morning, once in the mid afternoon, and once in the evening... I think you will find
your productivity significantly improve!
Stress Relief Idea #5: Commuting
Ugh! Everyone is driving to work at the same time and some folks have been driving for an hour or more... and
suddenly... they get ticked off and commit behaviors they wouldn't have considered in any other situation. It is
called "road rage" and lesser terms... but still... it is a conflict and it sure doesn't put you in a great mood
when you arrive at work! So do this instead, drive defensively and do not get competitive with other drivers. Give
yourself plenty of time to get to work so you won't be anxious to get there in a hurry.
Stress Relief Idea #6: Stress Ball
This is a malleable ball that you can squeeze and manipulate with your hands and fingers to relieve muscle
tension. It works for a lot of people.
Stress Relief Idea #7: Calming and Soothing Herbal Teas
As they say... billions of people can't be wrong! Herbal teas generally don't have the caffeine that regular tea
and coffee does. I like Mint, Chamomille or Ginseng Teas. There are others you may prefer for the smells and
taste.

One of my favorite things to do... use calming bath salts and candles... shut the door to keep the steam in and try
to make the bath as hot as you can stand... and then let the heat slowly remove all the accumulated stresses
from the day.
