Suggested Home Remedies for Stress Relief that You Can Try...
I did some research on home remedies for stress that you might want to think about or even try.
They say that yogurt is one of the best home remedy for stress. Actually, I prefer the live cultured yogurt
because it is full of good bugs that helps your digestion. (But I completely understand it if this would bother
you... but know this, it is completely safe). And you can find the live cultured yogurt in any large grocery store.
And yogurt is rich in vitamin A, B complex and of course, vitamin D.
Yogurt also may help you with insomnia, migraine and cramps associated with menstruation.
You can make a tea with dried sage leaves. I prefer to boil filtered tap water on my stove and
pour it over the dried sage leaves. Strain the leaves out after a minute or two. You can sweeten the tea with a
little honey. Try using one of the local brands of honey because I heard that it builds up your immunity to
allergies.
Sunflower seeds are also good for stress relief. I prefer using raw sunflower seeds without the
oils on them. And you can sprinkle them on your salads.
Alfalfa sprouts is another suggested home remedy for stress relief. You can put them on your
salads and sandwiches. Alfalfa is rich in calcium, a critical vitamin for your bones and good health.
My favorite stress reliever however is drawing a hot bath. I feel that when you relax and let the hot water just pull
out the poisons and stress from your body... you feel absolutely wonderful afterwards. Try using bath oils, bath
salts. Light some candles and shut off the bathroom lights to enhance the relaxing atmosphere.
Another good stress reliever that I believe in and has been totally supported by sports science is exercising.
You can do some bodyweight exercises in the privacy of your own home or you can go for a brisk walk around the
neighborhood.. Just do some regular physical workouts and your body will thank you for it! :)
I've tried a few relaxing self-meditations. It seems to work well for me. But you have to be
patient and open to suggestions that may seem a little out-of-the-box.
For many folks, this suggestion might be hard to take... but it has been shown in many studies that coffee, soft
drinks, salt, smoking and even drinking alcohol isn't good for removing stress. All these things
actually make it harder for your body to reduce stress because they deplete your body's vitamin B levels.
A good natural home remedies for stress and relaxation is heating up a cup of milk and mix in a
little honey and cinnamon. It is supposed to bring calmness and reduce your stress.
You can't cure stress... but you can manage stress so that it doesn't overwhelm you. I hope some of the home
remedy for stress that I suggested helps you.
