Health Benefits of Green Tea
There are many tea drinkers out there. And you probably tried a flavor or two which you saw along the aisles of
your local grocery store. And you may even had tried a green tea because you were curious about them. You may have
heard about the health benefits of green tea.
And if you selected a good quality green tea, you may have noticed that it had a nice and gentle flavor to it.
But deep inside the tea leaves... it offers a bounty of healthful benefits..jpg)
Now green tea has been around for a very, very long time. History talks about tea drinking in many other
countries for 1000s of years because of the belief that it has magical healing properties. And green tea is one of
the good guys.
What we know now due to science is that green tea is one of the most healthy drink or food that we can consume.
So it looks like the ancient Chinese knew their stuff. Because they realized a very long time ago of the health
benefits of green tea.
And these people made drinking green tea an integral part of their lifestyle and culture. They believed green
tea was good for treating depressions and headache pains. Granted, medical science wasn't so advanced back then...
but truly... green tea was the miracle drug to them up to 4,000 years ago.
And it is still the miracle drug today!
You can try drinking green tea for relief of many conditions. It is purported to help reduce cardiovascular
diseases and high cholesterol levels, infections, some types of cancer and rheumatoid arthritis.
But of course, you should always check with your doctor
first to make sure you are getting the very best care possible if you have a serious medical condition.
Another healthy benefit of green tea is it's ability to help your own body stay strong and heal itself by
fighting off diseases. Some studies have suggested that green tea can help those with esophageal cancer...
I have heard that those who are on a diet to lose some weight drink green tea to help acclerate the burning off
of fat. And besides, green tea has some nutritional value too.
And while green tea may be an acquired taste... it seems to be quite popular.
I almost left out that drinking green tea regularly may help prevent tooth decay because it
has natural bacteria fighting capabilities.
I have never tried it for this one... but for those who suffer from insomnia... try drinking a hot, steaming cup
of green tea before turning in for the night. It is supposed to be a powerful inducer to helping you sleep.
After reading this article... you just can't help not thinking about the amazing benefits of green tea. So try a
cup of green tea regularly...
