Causes of Anxiety & Stress Symptom -- Just Say "No" to Stress
For many of us... we know that stress can very easily take over our lives... and when we DO allow stress to
creep up and take control... we can face a future of anxiety and panic attacks.
So the key thing is to prevent stress from dominating and controlling our lives. So it is important to recognize
anxiety stress symptoms.
And yes... there are lots of things in our daily lives that can cause undue stress... so the first thing you
should be aware of is to identify and find ways to prevent the stress from rearing its ugly head. For example, home
finance is one of the biggest causes of stress. Sadly, getting into debt to pay for luxury items that you really
don't need is pretty common place these days.
So learning how to avoid debt may be one of the most valuable skills someone can have to avoid stress. But what
happens if you ALREADY have a lot of debt? Well, the first thing you should do is sit down and set up some monthly
budget how to limit your expenditures and pay your debt load off.
So your monthly budget should allow for essentials such as electric bills... groceries and a little extra for
emergencies... but no more luxury items!
And sticking to this budget is going to be hard... but the goal will be to pay your debt off as fast as you can.
The result of course will be that you are going to be so proud that you did it! You replaced the stress of debt
with the pride of taking responsibility of your future.
Here is another cause for anxiety & stress symptom... working way too many hours and
having little time left over to do the things that you want to do. Those who find themselves in this situation
also find that their family life suffers..jpg)
And sure, making money... especially in a lousy economy is important. But sacrificing your time spent with your
loving family can be unbearable... leading to frustration and stress.
So you must find some balance between work and home life so that everyone can get what they want. My suggestion
would be that when you leave work for the day... leave it behind and don't take it home with you. Live in the now
with your family. Listen and experience the joy of being with the ONLY people who love you to death.
Another source that causes anxiety & stress symptom is avoiding conflict by saying "yes" to everyone who
asks for your time and help. This is a biggie that causes a lot of stress... so if this is you... you definitely
need to know how to say "NO" every once in a while... it isn't being selfish... it is about setting boundaries and
respect.
But don't get me wrong here... it is OK to help out others... when they need it... to be there... but some folks
will walk all over you and shamelessly ask for your help and time... over and over again.
And being a helpful person does not mean it is a one way street. Expect others to help you too. If they decline
to help you after you've done so much for them... well, you have your answer! They are taking advantage of you and
it is perfectly OK to tell them no too...
One more way that causes the anxiety and stress symptom is doing too much. Having too many balls in the air...
so to speak. This causes a lot of stress because you may not have enough time to do each task properly... which
causes more stress when you fail. And besides... we are not robots... we can only do so many things at the same
time. However, there are some really good productivity books and tools out there that allows you to do more with
less effort and time.
So either try that or try to reduce your task loads to a more manageable level so that you can slow down and
smell the roses!
In conclusion... there are lots of causes of anxiety & stress
symptom... figure out what is causing them and from there you can decide creative ways to combat the
stress and anxiety before they take control of YOU! One of the dangers of stress is that it can build up and cause
you to explode at some level... which makes things worst for you with others or your health.
So stop right now... take a moment and figure out what is causing your stress and find ways to eliminate
them.
Good luck,
Kate :)
