Make Your Stress Evaporate with Some Stress Relaxation tips

Suppose you were dashing about doing your errands at town and your heart started pounding at the grocery store. And you thought your heart was going to leap out of your chest because it was pounding so hard, you thought a heart attack was coming on.

In most cases, you probably weren’t having a heart attack but your body was definitely warning you about a stress overload. And you may have spoken to your doctor recently about stress and he told you to try som stress relaxation tips to lower your stress levels.

And you are probably thinking, “I don’t have any time to relax!” Well, my response would be you don’t have any time for a heart attack either. You don’t have time to develop a full blown anxiety or panic attacks. So you should at least try some stress relaxation tips just to see if they are effective in helping you.

Just know this, relaxing isn’t very difficult to learn how to do. If you can create stress in your body, guess what? You can un-stress yourself too. And besides, the stress relaxation tips that I will suggest to you are simple to do.

The 1st tip is to seek Psychotherapy help. Your doctor would probably recommend a psychologist or a mental health counselor. And no, it doesn’t mean you are crazy or mentally ill, it just means that you may need help getting your stress levels down and learning how to manage your stress before you head for a more serious psychological disorder.

You know that mental health professions are trained to give you the best and the latest techniques to help you manage your stress. And that is what you will get out of the visits to your therapists. However, you can learn some of these psychotherapy techniques on your own by using self-help DVD and CD tutorials.

In my next post I will suggest some more stress relaxation tips. But if you feel that you need something sooner that is very effective for stress, anxiety or panic attacks… I would suggest that you give Panic Away a good look.

P.S. I recommend the hour long Totally Tranquil meditation track by Holothink that you can download immediately and burn it on a CD or even copy it to your IPOD and use it whenever and wherever you find a need to get instant stress relief.

You can sign up at the link above for a FREE 10 minute demo to refresh your mental state and feel re-energized and focused by the end of the track.

stress relief has been an important issue in my life. i can relate to the part about not having enough time to learn about techniques because this is the way i feel some of the time but it is so important to take that time-remember your attitude affects those that you love, as well as yourself.

Hi.. Today’s world leaves most adults stressed beyond what they can handle. Stress is the most prominent issue in everyone’s life and in today’s world people don’t have enough time to chill out. In your article you have encouraged those persons who used to go psychologist and I hope those people would not say that they are mentally weak or so instead they just have to reduce the stress level. Very encouraging article!

I am going to try this. I suffer from anxiety attacks and my doctor prescribed me Xanax, but I don’t like the idea of taking pills. This might be just the thing for me!

Hi Kate, I wait with anticipation for your next post. I’m curious to find out what can help.

With the current economic climate, money has been tight for me and the stress of trying to keep on top of it all physically manifests itself in feeling like thousands of hot needles on my skin. Only ever happens when I get stressed or panic. So finding a way to help maintain control and relax would be great for me.

The little things you do each day, that make you happy…THAT is a true stress reliever! Make time for those little things! (They have a HUGE impact!)

I have a job working in construction. As a woman that posts all kinds of stress as you can imagine. When i have time my usual routine of relaxation is as follows: first, i have someone else cook for me like my kids who are teenagers 2. my middle daughter is a sweety and runs me a nice bath with candles and no other lights or sounds 3. i have one of those massangers for your back and i use it frequently because i am picking up 50lb items all day and it is a real heaven sent thing to have. Anyway, just take the time because if you don’t you will just be a mess and no good to anybody.
