Your Panic Anxiety Disorder isn’t All in Your Head Part 2
This is the second part in the three part series. If you miss my first post, you can go here to read it: Your Panic Anxiety Disorder isn’t All in Your Head Part 1.
Moving on…
Doctors are not stupid. Having said that, they can make some misjudgements. After all, they are human too.
But hopefully, your doctor will know something about panic anxiety attacks. And if they do, they will know that this disorder isn’t brought on by the patient. No. It is called a disorder for a reason and it does need to be dealt with.
Because for sure, it won’t just go away without the right help…
And because of all the misunderstanding about what exactly is anxiety disorders makes it more likely that the sufferer will just remain quiet. And who would blame them after the flack they got the first time they tried to get help?
Just imagine that… seeking help and being told that it is “all in your head.”
Here’s the real truth about panic attacks. All those symtoms you feel? Such as the racing heart or nausea or chest pains. Well, you can’t really “wish” it on yourself! That is just ridiculous.
Those symptoms are REAL and they HAPPENED!!
So what you have to do is take some extra steps to “right the ship” so to speak. It just means you do have something going wrong inside of you and you have to take some extra steps to fix it. And no, it doesn’t mean you have to resign yourself to taking medication for the rest of your life.
I’ll talk about this important subject some more in my next blog post. Until then, if you are stuck and don’t know what to do… the first thing I seriously recommend is go to your doctor anyways. And make sure that nothing else is wrong with you and your doctor thinks you do have anxiety disorders.
Then I suggest that you check out Panic Away which is a self-help program that was designed by a former panic attack sufferer just like you. It is a highly effective program that has worked for many 1000s of people all around the world. But don’t take my word for it. Be sure to check out the testimonials of grateful folks that ended their anxieties without medication or expensive therapy.
Until next time,
Kate
