Your Panic Anxiety Disorder isn’t All in Your Head Part 1
Your Panic Anxiety Disorder isn’t All in Your Head Part 1I have a rule and that is I don’t let anyone tell me that all my panic anxiety disorder symptoms are all in my head. And guess what? Medical doctors are guilty of trying to break my rule.
I personally think that some doctors really missed out on the bedside manners class. Especially the old school type of guys who seems to think they have all the answers (but they don’t).
And when they are stumped and they know that your heart is healthy. They usually fall back on the “it’s all in your head” routine.
Well, THAT doesn’t help! Not at all…
And that ignorance can do more harm than good. Because you see, once you are diagnosed with a panic or anxiety disorder, having someone tell you that you can’t do anything about it or you need to “ignore” the problem and it will all go away…
That is just absurd and the most ridiculous advice I have ever heard. For the record, if you are diagnosed with anxieties and panic attacks… I want you to understand that you are not in immediate danger. It is just your body over-reacting to the fears of getting a panic attack or anxieties.
That’s it. And that fear does originate from the brain. So it can be said that it is all in your head but the way they tell it to you is just dismissive and ignorant.
So don’t let the doctor do that to you. Demand to know everything that you can and all your options from your doctor.
I’ll be talking more about this subject in the next blog post.
So for now, TTYL,

P.S. If you are diagnosed with panic anxiety disorder, I suggest that you view Panic Away program that was designed by Barry Joe McDonagh. He is a former sufferer and knows what you are going through. And his program is pretty successful as you will see when you check out the testimonials on his site.
