Panic Anxiety Disorder Doesn’t Have to Rule Your Life Anymore – Part 1
Let’s suppose that you are getting ready to be with your friends on a much talked about and planned about cruise to the Bahamas (which by the way is a great idea when it is cold in the winter!). However, a couple of hours before the ship leaves the dock, you start having some trouble breathing. And then your stomach starts to cramp and you feel miserable. You may even feel like you are going to pass out.
Of course you are concerned, so you make a bee line to the emergency room. And once there, the attending physician tells you that there is nothing wrong with you! Or they made it sound like you are just “making things up” inside your head.
So now you really do feel bad about what just happened. Confused and frustrated because you just know something happened and you were not making it up. And to top that off, you also are getting a very large hospital bill. And to make things even worst, your cruise ship left the dock without you.
Like really sucks now… and this wasn’t the first time something like this happened to you. It is more likely you just suffered from panic anxiety disorder but you are probably thinking this is a condition that you will have to cope with for the rest of your life.
And you start to dread the coming months, days and hours until your next anxiety and panic attacks. You are not too sure what to do. Your doctor prescribed some medication for you and you tried them all.
to be continued in the next blog post…
warmly,
Kate
