How to Seek Panic Disorder Help Because it is Real
A typical scenario for panic attacks can be like this one… imagine that today is just a beautiful and sunny day… and everything is just perfect so far… and WHAM! Without any warning whatsoever, you get hit with a panic attack and you are wondering if there is any panic disorder help that you can seek.
And the thing of it is, there are no monsters hiding under your chair. There are no earthquakes opening up a yaw on the road to swallow your car as you drive up. And there is definitely no instant terminal illness that is just about to strike you. And yet… YOU feel totally wrapped up in a blanket of terror and you are unable to shake it off.
What is going on here?
You may actually feel your heart thumping against your chest. Your hands may get sweaty and your grip is very weak. Your head may feel like it is spinning out of control. If you are driving at the moment, you probably pulled over to the side of the road because… it sure feels like you are just about to pass out.
If your panic disorder symptoms occurred at work or while you are shopping at the local grocery store… you may find yourself clutching your heart wondering if you are dying from a Myocardial infarction (or heart attack).
Sometimes when you have a panic attack in public, a good Samaritan can notice that you are turning pale and look seriously ill.
And sure, with just about everyone having a cell phone these days, someone may have taken the initiative and called 911. You may hear the whoop-whoop of the siren as the ambulance comes. And then as you find yourself in the emergency room, you are literally surrounded by 1000s of devices and heart monitors… with a defibrillator standing by.
And it isn’t just you, the emergency personnel also thinks you are having a heart attack. Or just about to get one. But after all the usual tests in the hospital to diagnose your condition… the doctor on call realizes as he looks at your tests… that you weren’t having a heart attack… but a PANIC ATTACK.
And sure, it was less than an hour ago you were at the grocery store or work… and now here you are at the hospital, worried that you are dying… and now, you find that it was just a panic attack and boy, you are embarrassed by all the attention that you got and this whole episode was just literally an exhausting experience for you. And now this is why you are seeking panic disorder help.
This is what I do know from my research into overcoming panic disorder… the panic or anxiety attacks generally happens when you are young. About the ages of eighteen to twenty five. And usually panic disorders start after you experience a traumatic event such like a auto accident… getting stuck inside an elevator (boy that is no fun at all)… or even something like losing a job.
I can tell you this… if you are lucky to figure out what the focal start of your panic disorders great. But for many folks, they won’t know how it got started. And one thing is clear for EVERYBODY… sufferers feel helpless about stopping and overcoming panic disorder.
I also want you to know that panic disorder is a REAL health problem. It isn’t something that you “made up” to get attention. Because believe me on this one… some people may actually think so and tell you that.
They are just wrong… and insensitive to boot. You may want to get better friends.
You need to sit down and talk with your doctor about what is happening to you and how to seek panic disorder help to cure it. Your doctor is going to make some suggestions how you can “control” your panic attacks… and some of those suggestions may be counseling or prescription medications.
And while those two ideas may work for you… unfortunately, they only help you with the symptoms… your counselor and medicines may not help you END the panic attacks forever. Because they don’t deal with the root cause of your panic disorders.
That is why I always recommend to my readers that have been diagnosed with panic disorders to try Panic Away program from Barry Joe McDonagh… he has helped 1000s of regular folks just like you and me… to overcoming panic disorders. And if you check out his official website, you will seek how grateful and relieved all those people felt about Joe’s program.
Good luck and I really do hope you end your panic disorders very soon,
Kate
