Guide to Panic Attacks It’s Real and It’s Happening – No Doubt About It. Part 2
In my previous post I talked about what a typical panic attack scenario feels like. And believe me, it’s terrible! So I’m going to continue this post and tell you some more about the panic disorder.
For many of the sufferers, the panic disorder commonly starts in early part of the adulthood about eighteen to twenty-fives years old. Some times these panic attacks occurs after a traumatic even such as an auto accident, losing your job or even something uncommon like getting stuck in an elevator.
And know this, there are over 6 million folks who also suffers from the panic disorder… many times, there are no clear reasons why it got started and why you have the condition. The only thing common that is shared by all these folks is that they ALL feel helpless to stop it!
So for anyone who never had it or does have some of the symptoms of panic attacks… it is a REAL mental health problem! It isn’t something just “made up” or something you used to gain some attention. Because if it hasn’t happened to you yet, there WILL be someone or some people who won’t believe you or say naive stuff to you because they don’t understand the condition or aren’t qualified to give you any help in the first place.
This is why it is important to see your MEDICAL professional or doctor first to see what exactly is happening to you. You aren’t crazy… your body is just overreacting to perceived danger that really isn’t there. You need to find ways to control the symptoms to give yourself relief. Your doctor may suggest some hypnotherapy, counseling or even prescribe some medications for you.
And you will find that you have some options that are open to you to cure your panic attack fears.
Here is another thing I suggest. If you have a understanding and trusted close friend or significant other… it may be helpful to share what is happening to you and get some emotion and practical support. Many times, if you go with the therapy route, having support from your understanding family and friends goes a long way to helping you reinforce what you learned.
You can find out how to use visualization, breathing, relaxation and even positive self-talk to reverse any impending sense from panic attacks. My opinion is that as you get better and better at learning how to manage your panic attacks… you can definitely get your normal life back!

I really think I do not suffer from panic attacks. But seeing the video, I have come to know about how it may look like. I have a friend who suffers from these kind of panic attacks. I think I should talk to her soon about this. I will ask her to try to control herself. Thanks for sharing such an article with us.

Hi there Parul!
You know, many of us probably know someone who IS suffering from panic attacks. But it isn’t very obvious to us many times because the sufferer is embarrassed about it. If you do talk to you friend, be diplomatic and encouraging. Good luck.

Panic attack is very serious mental problem. But we should help the person who is in panic. Yoga is the cure for this type og disordee. Yoga helps in mental peace and provide relexation to the mind.
