Can Wind Farms Cause Panic Attacks?

I was reading a very interesting article that is titled: Living near a wind farm can cause heart disease, panic attacks and migraines.

And what intrigued me was the fact that environmental factors have been associated with panic and anxiety disorders… the study this article was based on reported that wind farms may cause the ‘wind turbine syndrome’ which can cause symptoms such as tinnitus, vertigo and sleep deprivation… as well as panic attacks, anxiety attacks and migraine headaches.

Good to know if you live near a wind farm or thinking of moving close to one.

Now I must say that this is just a study that “suggests” these symptoms… there is no proof that wind farms are harmful to human beings but there is information out there that may suggest it…

All in all, wind turbines are still pretty safe and is probably much more safer than coal fired plants.

If you ever lived near or currently live near a wind farm… please let us know your experiences… both positive and negative.

Thanks!

P.S. I heard pros and cons about wind farms… one person told me that the “whoosh, whoosh” of the huge wind generator helped them sleep at nights because it was a comforting sound..

On the other hand, someone else told me that she absolutely hates wind farms because they are ugly.
