How to Deal with Your Headache Pain So You can Live Life Again


I completely understand that headache pain can affect your life so bad that you miss time at work or just doing normal every day activities…

However, there are some ways you can deal with your headaches so you can live a normal life again… especially enjoy living again!

I think that it really helps when you figure out what kind of headache pain you have and then take it from there to figure out the cure.

Because let’s face it… there are literally many different ways you can get a headache… so not all headaches are the same… you can’t just look for a “cure” that fits all… that would just be absurd… right?

So let’s start off with this… if you notice you have pain above your eyes… under your eyes… or above your teeth… then you may be suffering form sinus headaches.

You see, sinus headaches happen when your sinuses become congested and develops pressure on your brain. And oh yeah! The headache pain can really, really hurt and bring a lot of discomfort to the suffer… that’s for sure! Try this… if you apply some pressure to your forehead or other areas of your face… do you feel a little relief?

Now the traditional remedies for sinus headaches is over-the-counter medicines for headache pain relief… but the best way in my opinion is to seek treatment for your congestion… the headache is just a symptom… treat the underlying condition and the symptoms should go away.

You could also take a long, hot shower or place a hot (but not too hot!) washcloth over your face to help loosen up some of that congestion and mucus. Another suggestion would be to eat spicy foods (and that would depend on your tolerance of course).

One medication that you should try is Pseudoephedrine which helps relieve congestion and the allergies which caused the mucus and congestion happening in the first place.

Another type of headache you may want to consider is called, Tension headaches which is brought on by the tension of muscles in your face, neck, shoulders and the back. Those types of headaches can be treated by pain relievers to help relax your muscles. However, I know of some sufferers of this type of headaches who have severe muscle tension… in that case… they got a prescription from their doctor for stronger muscle relaxers.

But there are other “natural” ways you can prevent the muscle tension from happening… try regular meditation and stretching. As they say… an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.

It does make sense in this situation… so preventing the muscles from tensing is more than half the battle to prevent the headache pains. And the advantage of doing this naturally of course… is that it doesn’t cost anything… and you don’t have any side effects like you would with medications.

I’ll have to say the worst and most severe type of headache pains comes from the migraine headaches. Oh… those are just terrible!

In simple and layman terms… migraine headaches are caused by the constriction of blood vessels in your brain. And migrain headaches can cause other symptoms… such as abdominal pains, nausea, vomiting, visual disturbances and slurring your words. These headaches can also make you sensitive to light and sound.

HOWEVER, if this is what you think you have… I strongly suggestion that you see your doctor for medical advice.

This is definitely NOT the time to be cheap! Only your doctor can help you figure out the appropriate treatment for your migraine headaches. Your doctor will also be able to tell you what is triggering your headaches and how you can avoid them. And believe me… once your migraine headaches have been treated… you will really appreciate having a normal pain-free life again.

To sum it up… headache pains really, really suck. It makes you feel miserable… if keeps you from doing the normal things that you do every day. So the answer of course is to come up with a plan of action to identify the type of headaches you are getting and how to treat that headaches…
