The Danger of Facebook for Anxiety Disorder Sufferers

Just wow! I always figured that if you do too much of anything… well, it isn’t always good for your health and sanity…

And then I read this article that concludes if you spend way too much time on Facebook… or another social networking site… it can be “as alluring and destructive as a gambling addiction.” (their words, not mine).

This article goes on to describe some warning signs that you may be using the Internet too much…

All are useful. Especially the one if you are using Facebook as relief from your anxieties.

Another thing to keep in mind… if you are suffering from depression, anxiety disorders, and social phobias… the clinical psychologist quoted in that article said – you are more likely to develop an Internet addiction.

And this article rightly concludes that you need to seek professional help. My added input would be to seek help to diagnose that you do in fact have anxiety disorders… and not some serious underlying conditions… and from there you can take steps to end your anxiety attacks.

Just remember this one thing… your brain is a like a computer. You can always upgrade your thoughts and control any bugs by loading a “self-help” program to end your panic attacks and anxiety attacks for good according to Barry Joe McDonagh and 1000s of former sufferers. Go to my home page to find out where to go to check out the Panic Away program that I recommend and read, listen or watch the testimonials of former sufferers how their lives change for the better after they ended their anxieties.

warmly,

Kate :)
