Pfzer Halts Developement of Medicine to Treat Anxiety Disorder

I read in today’s paper that Pfizer is going to discontinue the testing of a compound that helps treat Generalized Anxiety Disorders… I couldn’t help but think about how dependent many people are for the next “miracle drug.”

Anywhere for weight loss to anxiety disorders… it just seems a little sad that expecting a little, expensive tiny pill to automatically make all your troubles go away…

But the truth of the matter is this… prescription drugs usually don’t “cure” the problem… they treat the symptoms. And also think about this, these drug companies don’t make money if a tiny pill fixes you up right away, forever!

Oh no! They will lose money on that! You see, before a drug hits the market, these drug companies have to spend literally, hundreds of millions of dollars testing, getting the approval of the FDA and of course, marketing the drug.

And these medicine manufacturers have to recoup all their money. So the “blockbuster” medicines you hear about,  drugs that must be taken all the time by the patient… forever!

It isn’t in the drug manufacturers’ best interest to create a drug that ENDS the medical problem right away!

And THIS is exactly why I’m telling my readers to give Panic Away a try because the author, Barry Joe McDonagh wants you to completely and permanently cure your anxiety disorder. He doesn’t make residual income. Joe doesn’t have anything else… just a detailed book that gives you all the tools you need to fix the anxiety disorder problem once and for all by yourself.

And I forgot to mention, but as a bonus, you also get the special email address to contact Barry Joe McDonagh, so you can ask him specific questions about the book, Panic Away.

So you don’t need to drag out your anxiety disorders to help  some pharmaceutical company make lots of profit! And don’t even get me started with the side effects of drugs!  (ugh!)

I’m hoping the best for you,

Kate :)

You make very good points in your message and I think it is so very relevant for today’s stressed out society. I’m going to read this book and see if it helps calm my nerves. I’ve already lost one job due to the economy and my new job of two months is showing signs of possibly disappearing. I don’t want to take some pills to deal with the stress, but maybe reading this book will help me deal better. Thanks again.

What a refreshing change! Someone actually wanting to help people who suffer from something as debilitating as anxiety attacks. Drug companies are like drug dealers-they just want you coming back for more.

There needs to be more information on the side effects of these drugs. Such as weight gain, or the possibility of it aggrevating high blood or elevation of blood sugar leval as it did to me.
