Is Too Much Stress the Cause of Anxiety Attacks?
As we all are aware of… stress is here to stay in our every day life. In a little strange way, a little stress is a good thing… because it keeps our brain and body focused and laser sharp when we are doing something important to us like work, studying or managing our lives. HOWEVER! Our stress levels can get out of control sometimes and be the cause of anxiety attacks.
And as you probably found out, anxiety attacks can appear out of nowhere and become like an every day stress related problem. But you should know this… the longer you leave your anxiety attacks untreated… the more potential they can bloom into an out of control panic attack episode…
So knowing this, you should definitely be aware of the signs and indications of anxiety attacks. And of course to understand THAT… you need to understand how your body reacts to stress and the symptoms your body will display.
As a disclaimer… you should know that each and every person shows different symtoms and reactions to stress. But the more common ways that your body may display stress symptoms is memory lapse, difficulties in concentrating on the task at hand, confusion and also your mind may seem like it is racing…
So here is the thing, many of the same symptoms that appear as stress related can also appear as anxiety attacks too. Hopefully, you will become a little more aware of the physical symtoms as well. Such as a pounding heart, shortness of breath, your body is shaking, trembling extremities, your stomach hurts, and even cold or hot flashes!
You may notice as your anxiety attacks reach their zenith, that you start to feel out of control or losing grip on yourself. This is a pretty common symtom of anxiety and panic attacks… but many people don’t alway recognize it.
Sometimes… your closest friend or family member will be the one to discover and point out to you that something is wrong… and once anxiety attacks are suspected… you should definitely consult with your family doctor to determine whether or not you DO in fact are suffering from anxiety attacks… and whether stress is the cause of your anxiety attacks.
But most importantly, you want to rule out the other more serious medical-related illnesses…
So be sure to let your doctor do his job… he may subscribe some prescription medicines to help relieve some of the symtoms that are bothering you. He may even suggest consulting with a proper counselor that is equiped to help you.
However, I want to make sure you are aware of Panic Away by Joe Barry that has helped 1000s of regular folks just like you conquer their anxiety attacks… forever! And when you get on his official website… you will notice a ton of testimonials from many people telling how Panic Away helped them get back their normal life again.
I really recommend this program… in fact, you will also get a special email so that you can ask questions and get answers regard to your anxiety and panic attacks.
Good luck and I really hope you get much better soon,
Kate

Yeah, anxiety attacks don’t have to even be relevant to a real problem sometimes I get them out of the blue.

Hey Travis,
Sure… that is why I wrote this blog post… for two reasons actually, first of course is that most people who suffer from anxiety attacks and panic attacks are unaware of it… and the second is that symptoms of anxiety attacks and too much stress can sometimes be similar. The result of course is that the anxiety attacks go undiagnosed and this is why I always encourage my readers to seek medical attention to get the proper diagnosis. Thanks for writing!

Yes and sure too much of stress results in to the anxiety attacks, although it is not the full and full cause for the anxiety attacks but surely it is one of the reasons. This article seems to be really very good and very informative.

i worked in the mental health field for several years as a crisis worker. too much stress is a very common problem. sometimes people have traumatic past histories that make them more susceptible to stress or with the poor economy, even people who never experienced too much anxiety, find themselves there now. providing tools for people to deal with too much anxiety is empowering so you are doing a great service here.

I think that it’s definitely important to understand how common anxiety attacks are and learn to treat them early on in life before they become an even bigger problem.

Stress is a killer and many times people don’t even realise how stressed they are. It’s important for friends too to be aware when someone else is under stress and gently help them out of it.
Panic and anxiety are terrible and I hope people can prevent it when possible – thanks to people like you who spread the word!
