Using Aromatherapy Scent in Treatments of Medical Conditions Part 3

This is my last post on the subject of using aromatherapy scent in treatments of medical conditions. However, as I said before, I am not a medical expert… I am just telling you of alternative ideas that you can try to “enhance” your treatment under the care of your doctor. Alternative remedies have been used for 100s and sometimes 1000s of years before the advance of medical care.

As we all know, modern medicine doesn’t always have the answers… so sometimes we can try other ideas to see how our bodies respond to the stimuli and maybe improve our conditions. As always, make sure your doctor approves before doing anything…

But to continue, Lemongrass and sage scents while always pleasant, has always been used as a relief for fatigue and headaches. You see, these aromatherapy scent are thought of a way to calm down the central nervous system and relax your inner being as to speak. Which leads to a more relaxed body and minimal stresses on yourself.

So try these scents to see if they help relieve your tension headaches.

Believe it or not… ancient herbalists have also battled their client’s acne problems too! And sure enough, they have selected certain aromatherapy scents that may help your acne issues. And these scents are Cedarwood, lemon and sandalwood. They are supposed to be effective against acne and helps promote your body’s ability to control the hormonal balance which is suspected to be the main culprit in forming pimples. These scents also have an effect on the oil production inside the skin too. And not only that, these scents that I just mentioned also can help relieve stress which is another factor in producing acne outbreaks.

The truth of the matter is this, aromatherapy should be considered as an excellent alternative remedy for minor medical treatments or to enhance your doctor’s medical treatment for your conditions. And aromatherapy is used in two ways… in the form of scented candles or scented liquid oils. You just need to test the different scents and forms of delivery to see which ways is most beneficial to you.

Good luck,

Kate :)
