Use of Aromatherapy to Improve Your Mental Health Part 1


The use of Aromatherapy has been acclaimed as a beneficial way to help those with physical conditions. But you know what? Aromatherapy can help improve your mental health too! The herbalists extract the essential scented oils from various plants, trees and herbs to create aromatherapy products that can penetrate your mind and body. And those who know how to use aromatherapy swear that it helps them relax and feel healthier.

However, I should also caution that you shouldn’t use Aromatherapy as a end all. In short, the use of Aromatherapy shouldn’t be a sole treatment for your conditions that go beyond a minor ailment. But… aromatherapy is an alternative treatment that can enhance and complement the traditional treatments that is prescribed by your professional in the field of mental health.

I’ll start off with two scents that you can try to perk up your energy levels and boost your moods. They are… orange peels and cinnamon. Some of you may notice that whenever you are chewing on Cinnamon gum, or eat something that is citrus based… you tend to perk up a little. Obviously, these two ingredients should be on top of the list of scents to try in Aromatherapy… and the benefits is aromatherapy lasts longer than gum…
