Try these Natural Immune Boosters Part 3
Did you know that there are many herbs that are also natural immune boosters? For instance, there are herbs such as Sage, St. John’s Wort, and Astragalus. And other natural immune boosters are Honey, mushrooms and Garlic. All of these items that I just mentioned are often suggested by nutritionists for strengthening the immune system.
As I talked about in the prior two posts… making sure and maintaining a proper diet that has all the vitamins and minerals that your body needs to have an iron clad immune system is essential.
But I suggest that you don’t substitute the herbs for a lousy diet. Try to improve your nutrition with a proper diet and enhance that with herbs.
And back to the herbs again… the Astragalus is a tonic that has been touted by the Chinese medical practitioners as a way to regenerate the tissue cells as well as restore the immune system. The Chinese found that this herb can create a natural obstacle to the growth of cancer cells as well as other health benefits. However, as a declaimer, I strongly suggest that you consult with your doctor to determine the best plan of action if you have serious medical issues. After all, I’m not a medical expert and this is just a blog. You should look into all methods… alternative as well as the modern medicine to explore your options as you see fit. But ultimately, it is your call which way you want to go.
But the Astragalus herb can help the immune system by increasing the white blood cell counts that acts like a micro-army to squash and repel the invaders of germs and viruses.
Another herb that has been known for helping the immune system is St. John’s Wort as well as the almighty (but pungent) Garlic! Some folks swear these two herbs can help those with AIDS or with Herpes… it may be something you can do a little research on for yourself to see if these herbs can help you.
So here it is, there are natural immune boosters that you can try to see if they help you. Like I said before, if you have more serious medical issues, I strongly suggest that you speak with your doctor’s advice before making any changes. But there are benefits to strengthening the immune system. It will help you become healthier and increase your resistance to the effects of stress.

Kate
